Is Manila a fun and safe place for teenage girls?

My dad is taking my sister and I on a business trip to Manila. We are staying at the Sofitel, but he might have to be in business meetings during the day. Is it safe to go out by ourselves and is there good places to shop?Is Manila a fun and safe place for teenage girls?
wait honey.

are you a foreigner,

or a filipino who had never been to the Philippines?

well if you look like a foreigner,

i suggest that you go out with daddy or somebody else.

Manila is a wonderful place.

but not everyone out there is nice.

like in all parts of the world,

there are always hoodlums.

if you wanna go out w/ your sister alone,

then just DON'T go to ugly places.

i mean, places w/ poor looking people.

go to commercial areas and the like instead.

it might be quite costly,

but that's part of a happy vacation. right?

well then, enjoy your stay here. =)Is Manila a fun and safe place for teenage girls?
Manila is ok but its better to roam inside malls. SM mega mall to shop everything is there from signature clothes

to bargains. Ask the front desk of the hotel for a tour guide, or for a transpo to take you to the place you want to go to. Or you can wait for your dad and tour intramuros, i know is a tour packege available, aks te front desk of the hotel, it is also near the manila ocean park and sm mall of asia.
I think its best for you to stick with your dad or a filipino person he trusts to teach you about how things are done in Manila first. Then after awhile if you feel you can handle it then head out but do have the contact numbers of your father incase you get lost but if you stay in the well built up areas then you should be fine. Don't wear flashy stuff which makes you look rich and bring small amounts of cash at any one time.

There are many many good places to shop and I highly suggest you visit Glorietta and Greenbelt as they are right next to each other and are quiet large and have huge selection for everything. Once that gets old visit SM Mega Mall and SM Mall of Asia. Those are the best malls to visit in my honest opinion. For all the fake handbags and wallets and stuff Greenhills is your best bet. You can haggle the prices which is good and the selection is well you'll understand when you see it. It's huge to say the least. Other than that I reccomend you first get to know the place and customs before you venture on your own. It's not as bad as people think.
It's not really safe here trust me. I'm from Metro Manila and I'm a bit scared myself especially at night. The only safe place I know here in Metro Manila is Makati City but anyway If your going out for a night life on bars I suggest you go to somewhere safe.

Manila area not really that safe on most part especially Divisoria and Quiapo. I suggest you stay away from those place especially at night. but if you do decide to go I also suggest do not wear any jewelry like necklace earrings and etc. Those two area are breeding grounds for snatchers and since we are on the snatcher topic I suggest you don't use hand bags and stuff like that. just put your money on your pocket. But anyway Manila Area do have some Shopping malls we have SM Manila and Robinsons Ermita those two malls are quite safe. As for the Nightlife you can check out Malate.

*Note Metro Manila is like the state and in Metro Manila we have a city name Manila also so don't get confused. LoL

Makati is the best place to shop if your in to designers stuff especially Glorietta Mall and Greenbelt Mall. Makati also have Bars and stuff the downside only is that they don't have a smoking area. If your a perfume person I suggest you go to Cash and Carry Shopping Mall (you will pass by this Mall if you came from Makati going back to your hotel) they have PX shop over there they sell cheap branded perfumes and all legit. a bottle cost from 1500-2500 pesos. thats like $30 - $50

Pasay City well this is where Sofitel Hotel is. The nearest shopping mall on that hotel is SM Mall of Asia (they claim that they are the biggest mall in asia) so its worth to check it out. Also they have variety of restaurant there. You might want to check also the Bars near the water front. although a flea market is located in Baclaran but again same protocol don't bring jewelries and stuff like that. Also one Cartimar Arcade where you can buy some bootleg stuff like Nike, Adidas, Puma, Reebok shoes but That place ain't big. PX stuff like perfumes are cheap and real cost around the same as in Cash and Carry Mall from $30-$50 (US dollar that is) a bottle just be sure you buy it on a store name JOBOY. Pasay City is more of a Sin City strip joints and stuff like that.

For sight seeing you might want to go to Tagaytay =)

I suggest you hire a Hotel Chauffeur to take you around the city. might cost around $50 US not really sure thou

Dont look so rich because you can get robbed, and dont dress to impress. It will only bring some people to rape you. Of course you can go to the SM Mall of asia. Tell you dad to drop you off there and go shopping, watch a movie, or go ice skating. They have all of that in the Mall. And if somebody ever tries to rob you, there are lots of security in the mall of asia, i even seen a security guard holding a really big gun, outside.

SM Mall of Asia Has all of your needs!
Better wait for your Dad to return home or request your Dad to take you to Makati Landmark where you can roam around inside the Malls. Be sure from time to time, let your Dad know your whereabouts.

Hope you will enjoy your stay here in the Philippines. GOD BLESS YOUR TRIP :)
Stick to the city and the malls during daylights, they are generally the safe place.http://www.philippines-travel-guide.com/鈥?/a>

How can teenage girls lose extra body fat?

I want to lose weight but I'm more concerned with losing extra body fat (mostly on my belly and hip area). My goal is to lose 10 lbs. or so in 3 weeks but i don't know where to start or what to do. Does anyone have any advice? How can teenage girls lose extra body fat?

When we want to get rid of body fat, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing sit ups won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve. The way to burn fat is through a calorie restricted diet in conjunction with an exercise routine that will burn calories. Activities that burn calories include running, biking, swimming and other high intensity activities.

Guide to Reducing Body Fat - http://straighthealth.com/pages/guides/r鈥?/a>How can teenage girls lose extra body fat?
As a fifteen year old guy, i can comfortably say that you dont need to lose any weight. Girls are supposed to be curvy. You shouldnt look like the anorexic women on tv and in movies! People today consider girls to be fat if they dont look like these anorexic women and thats why theres so much **** about body image and what not in the world today. Heres an example of a really attractive teen girl that considers herself to be fat, even though shes really attractive:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJTVJOv_DR0%26amp;feature=related

She is not fat, shes exactly what a lot of guys like me look for in a girl

What i'm saying is you shouldnt do a thing cause how you describe yourself you sound pretty in shape for a teen girl.
Both these programs were highly reccomended to me by trainers at my gym to lose fat. Both under 50 dollars. I went with the burn the fat feed the muscle. I lost 39 pounds in one month

Burn fat feed muscle:

Turbulence training:

Change your lifestyle for good. Do cardio %26amp; toning exercises in moderation 5 days weekly and calorie shift your meals. Its harder to maintain a low body weight rather than losing excess weight,so no excuses. You must be comitted to live healthy for good.
This is your best bet, trust me.

Just by working out and eat healthy.
work out, dont eat food with very much fat, sleep well at night

Why do teenage high-school students like to make fun of each other on a daily basis?

Students constantly nag each other about the littlest things, and even though most adults think it is a trivial matter, it is not. It is a much bigger deal than most people think. Please tell me why do these kids make fun of each other? Why do teenage high-school students like to make fun of each other on a daily basis?
In the age of the media where we are bombarded with images of how life should be and how we should look, teenagers realize that their lives and their appearance fall miserably short of this ';standard.'; Low self-esteem is rampant. When you feel like you are the scum of the earth, it helps to put others beneath you. When you're better than the ';ugly'; kid or the ';nerdy'; kid you aren't the worst person in the world.

However, this approach to self-esteem issues doesn't make you feel better about yourself in the long run, and it also hurts the self-esteem of those you pick on.

As a fifteen year old, I was fortunate enough to be home-schooled through middle school and am now attending a local college. This has helped me to step back and observe what goes on in schools and why without getting caught up in it. Hope that helps! =DWhy do teenage high-school students like to make fun of each other on a daily basis?
they must be jealous, or just kidding..
they have nothing better to do and besides it makes them feel better about themselves.
because that is the need of the age. in that age group everyone does that and it is natural.
because they feel crappy about themselves and it makes them feel better to find things wrong with other people instead of working on their own flaws and building a little self-esteem.
Take it with a grain of salt, because it doesn't get any better in the ';REAL WORLD';
Because this is an awkward time in their life. They are dealing with changes in their bodies and hormones. They do not understand what is going on with them. And when something is uncomfortable they deal with it the one way they know how and that is by making fun of others who are going through the same things. Or even things that they fear the worst. It doesn't make it right. But it is their way of dealing with their own insecurities.
nothing else better to do...other than they make the choice to be DUMB!!!
Because it's funny.

Foolnomore, I beg to differ. Maybe females would have some sort of grudge because they can't understand their menstrual cycle and whatnot, but the only thing that happened to me was that my junk got bigger (and of course, I started growing pubic hair). When my unit started growing I wasn't confused - I was enlightened. The immense size that it had grown to could only mean one thing; I am the chosen one. A distant relative, perhaps a more handso, I changed the paragraph in question to a more eight year old friendlyme seperated-at-birth sibling of Ron Jeremy.

When a more socially accepted teen picks on a loser-type or an individual that is anything but the social norm, (which is ignorant, might I add) he just wants to be cool among his peers and friends. He wants to make them laugh, in hopes that he will keep their friendship. I used to do it not too long ago, and I have discovered that it is just a thing that teenage kids will do.

However, when they ';nitpick about the littlest things,'; it is usually among friends, and it is done to makes jokes and be funny; to amuse eachother when there is nothing better to do or nothing else to say.

There spooky, I changed the paragraph in question to a more eight-year-old friendly edition for you. I hope I didn't hurt your feelings, honey.
Im in highschool, and they are jerks! To me, its called bullying. The people who make fun of others for being different have no real life. I think they do that to feel good about themselves and to look ';cool'; around there friends. If they are friends and nagging on each other, they are just bored and have nothing better to do.
it's fun.
it's a technique for making themself feel better about themselves.

It's the same reason the majority of the people who can stomach it... watch the SPRINGER show.
Reputation, Jelousy, or Peer Pressure
Same reason two bucks fight in the woods, to show dominance.
Because they want to make their microscopic egos seem bigger by tearing someone else down.

And, Jeff is Tiny.........reported. ';Men who brag usually have very little to brag about.';
High school is alot about having friends and being popular. the more someone has self confidence the more he is likely to have friends, when someone makes fun of someone else it booms up his self confidence and self esteem I personally think its sick to be horrible to someone just so others with like you but on the other hand as being one of the least popular with low self confidence in school I can understand the whole situation............
It's called a 'pecking' order, like chickens in a hen house. Survival of the fittest, so to speak. Look at the animal world: the biggest, meanest ones always get fed first leaving the small ones to die out or find another way to survive. I'm guessing that you are talking about middle/high school students? Hurt is a huge motivator; I hurt, therefore, so will everyone else and/or I don't want to hurt, so I'll hurt everyone else first. It truly saddens my heart to see students rip each other up, and this is something I don't allow in my class - Ever! No one deserves heartache, especially when it is so undeserved and simple to relieve; just close mouth!!
Because they have no lives.

  • Does anyone know a dramatic monologue for a teenage girl?

I have auditions for Beauty and the Beast next week and I'm looking for a good monologue.Does anyone know a dramatic monologue for a teenage girl?
The musical Annie has a monologue from the title character about her locket and her parents giving it to her. I would suggest that, or in the movie ';the Devil Wears Prada'; Meryl Streep has a monologue about the color blue. either would be great for a teenage girl. I did the monologue from annie for an audition for the role of annie and got the part! I also won first place in a competition for using the blue one.

    Good Luck!!

What are some good questions to ask a teenage guy?

What are some totally random, awkward questions i could ask a 15 year old guy? What are some good questions to ask a teenage guy?
The question u just asked seems about right.

Why do teenage girls all look the same, dress the same and talk the same?

and then when a girl dresses different to them and shows that she isnt

a sheep and un-original, they say she's weird! Why do teenage girls all look the same, dress the same and talk the same?
i don't dress like other girls. and i think its because im weid and different. also because im a tomboy. i admit and accept the fact im weird. no one ever told me i was. i just came to that conclusion all by myself and i'm proud of it to. i dress how i like to dress cuz who gives a crap what to other girls think. Why do teenage girls all look the same, dress the same and talk the same?
It's part of the whole collectivist mentality that sundry folk have, young and old. Conformity is important not just to kids, but adults as well (look at how many adults dress the same, as well). I do dress and act different, however, truly different, not just a counter-trend that someone follows to be ';different';. I don't do so deliberately to be different either, I do it because the way I dress and the way I talk is who I am.

Here's what I look like: As of last week, when I last measured myself and weighed myself, I'm 5'3 1/2';, I weigh 109 lbs, I have blonde hair, blue eyes, and wear glasses. I suppose that isn't very unique. But it's what I look like.

Here's how I dress: I almost always am wearing a long, single color, plain skirt (sometimes with floral or other print though). It is either floor length or ankle length. I also wear nice shoes that aren't dressy or casual, and knee length socks. I wear a loose-fitting, long sleeved shirt that is also a plain, single color much of the time. I sometimes wear a t-shirt around the house, though. I also wear my hair up and wear a white prayer cap over it almost all of the time, like Mennonite girls wear. Alas, I am a bit uncomfortably hot in the summer, but I just use a paper fan to cool myself off. ^_^

Here's how I talk: Overall, I have a very old fashioned way of talking, what think you? Right there is an example, I say ';What think you?'; or ';How feel you?'; or ';What say you?'; for example instead of ';What do you think';, ';How do you feel?';, or ';What do you say?'; (basically, all questions I ask are constructed with archaic grammar). I also say ';alas'; quite a lot, possibly too much. I almost never use the words ';like';, ';totally';, ';awesome';, or any other popular teenage word that sundry folk nowadays use.

The music I listen to: I listen to old music, such as oldies, classical, traditional folk songs, and other, similar types of music. Of those, I likely love harpsichord music the best. Alas, much of the music I listen to, not many people have heard of.
I beg to differ about this. Not everyone looks the same, dresses the same and talks the same... like you say, there are a few individuals that then get called 'weird' but I don't care. I'm not the same as everyone else. I dress different, I act different and I talk different. I don't do it intentionally - I just don't feel pressured to be a certain way to fit in with everybody else. If people don't like me, that's their problem. I'm not going to change so either take me as I am or don't.
Not ALL teenage girls do! I'm getting tired of these stereotypes and generalizations of teenage girls.

I am a teen girl and I don't dress the same as everyone else, they inspire me and I mix in other styles from different groups. There are different groups of people who dress differently to other groups but dress similarly to their group. Not all people dress the same.

I do not look like anyone I know either. I am not an orange.

Neither do I talk the same as anyone I know.

I do not call people who dress differently to me ';weird'; as most of the time I like what they wear, and they allow me to change my style slightly to incorporate that too.
NOT ALL GIRLS ARE LIKE THAT

    quit sterotyping

i am a teenageer, i like thrift stores, dress plain,etc..

i'm not like the other girls, but so what? it's just clothes

if they think i'm weird, that's ok i don't care about them. i do not dress the the same, look the same, or talk the same.

    d0 YoU s33 m3 t@lking lyke dis a11 da t1m3?

MOST girls are like that to fit in. they don't want to be criticized or anything.

i'm an individual. i just naturally do what i like. i don't label myself as ';punk'; if i like punk music. i could listen to punk and dress nerdy lol i don't care.
    Wrong.

I'm 15, and a huge tom boy. I love being different and not fitting it; I TRY not to.

I dye my hair every crazy color you can think of, I have vampire fangs that I'm always wearing, I don't wear make up, I've never shopped in hollister or any of those bullsh*t stores, I don't try to have sex with every guy I see, for some reason I use older words, I wear the most crazy colored rainbow outfits.

and not to sound odd or anything, but making friends is NOT a problem for me. People always want to be around me and everyone always wants to hang out. I'm cool and a freak all at once; but I guess I'm one in a million. I'd never be caught DEAD looking like a Crombie Zombie or a Hollister Whore. The end.
i know i have my own style but my mum hates my clothes so she threw them all away so i have to wear the things she bought me!!!!! i hate them they are what all teenage girls wear =[ i don't talk like them they talk like this ';im a gurl nd i lyk p!nk i w3r cloth3s dat luk lyk cryp LOL LMAO GTG babezz luz yasss'; IT GETS ON MY BLOODY NERVES!!!

i get bullied because i don't wear/talk/look the same as them, but it doesn't bother me much, they are just shallow people whose lives are great until they finish school and then they peak at 18.
because it is part of human nature. they are young, immature, innexperienced and dont think about things before making a judgment. not all teenagers are like this but it has unffortunatley become the norm. and maturity does come to some teenagers, i know just as many immature adults as i do teenagers. most adults are just more experienced in life.

my advice to girls and guys who do have the unfortunate disturbance of those kindas of people is to remember who you are. dont let them rub their ignorance off onto you. they arthe ones you should feel bad for, if they are so unconfident in themselves that they make fun of you for being diffrent then then that is really sad.
I dress fancier than most people, with cute sandals and sailor-style shorts and flowy tops. Not super tight Abercrombie and Hollister shirts and underwear for pants. I have super thick dirty blond hair that I have never dyed, and I talk funny. I cannot say my ';R';s right and I talk higher than most people (definitely not on purpose. I(t's annoying). Stop stereotyping.

Oh, and I forgot to mention: I use correct grammar and am an A+ student all the time. People actually tease me for being SMART.
We don't. I just learned to say whatever and not give a damn. If they want to call me weird and be little robots that's fine. I'll stick to my way(:

Edit: Well I don't dress or act like a lot of people at our school but I do dress and act a lot like my best friend. We share clothes and were just together enough so we have the same personality(:

And we don't type like this

LKY OMG THT RLY HOTTTTTTT DOOD AKED ME OUTTTT TODAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    '' you're born original, dont die a copy ''

I dress with what i like, if its in style, then good. If it isnt, i'll still wear it..

I sound EXACTLY like my bestfriend, which is scary.. XD

    And for my hair %26amp; make up. Im really not original, and do the simplest thing that every girl my age does %26gt;_%26lt;

But in my tastes in music, I am SUPER different than anybody..

I like that about me =D
Your crazy. They don't all look the same.

People *usually* where I live on make fun of someone for being unorginal if they are trying to hard.

And nobody is orginal anymore. Nobody gets there own ideas anymore, we get it from TV, music, poems, movies, ext.

    Mhm.
No one wants to be different, it's a coping mechanism to fit in with dress. The ability to accept other people comes with adulthood, not adolescence.
I suspect you already know it's because they're still children and ';fitting in'; is of paramount importance in their immature lives.
    yeah!!!

Everyone wears the same clothes and when someone wheres something unique or just nicer or different.
Girls want to look like celebs and dress like them, so they think everyone should look like that. The preps? your talking about right! ';look it me, look it me'; haha is how they are.
    No No No.

    Not me. yay.

    lol
not all of them dress the same!

What do teenage girls look for in a guy, honestly?

I don't need all of the regular cliche crap. Girls, tell me what attributes you find hot or sexy or attractive (however you want to put it) in a teenage guy? What do teenage girls look for in a guy, honestly?
Girls, he's not asking for the physical attributes that make a guy attractive, but the personality quirks or actions.

Personally, I like a guy who makes eye contact and gives a genuine smile, without even having to say anything. It's even better when it lasts for more than a second or two. That makes me go crazy =].

I also like guys with a sense of humor, but know when to stop joking. There are times for play and times to be serious, and when a guy is good at telling those things, I respect him more.

Guys that are intelligent, and can carry on a conversation on something other than skateboards, cars, money, how hot movie stars are, how drunk they got over the weekend or general shallow topics. I find it very attractive when guys give shy-ish smiles kind of in a way that makes me feel like there's a secret or an inside joke between us.

Those are just a few of the things that I notice in a guy and make me realize that I'm into him. Those are the things that I find endearing. What do teenage girls look for in a guy, honestly?
    Physically:

Broad shoulders, kinda buff (but no body builders), not completely covered in acne (1-2 zits are ok, we can't all be perfect), symmetrical face (no oblong noses), neat hair (style it however you want, but use gel at your own risk, makes it oily and gross, and if your hair is already oily, then we've got a problem). As for clothes, it kind of creeps me out when guys shop at Hollister/American Eagle. I mean I don't shop there, because its too girly for me, and I';m a girl! But that's just a personal preference there.

But what you should know is that what is underneath the physical features makes all the difference. If you're a good person, and you can make a girl laugh and be happy, then you'll be just fine!
you know the saying ';looks get the attention, personality draws them in'; it's quite literal. girls will notice you first by looks then realize their feelings for you by your personality. girls like guys with great hygiene ex: clean hair, smell, clean clothes, and clear skin. it's a real turn off if you have dandruff or yellow and smelly teeth. as personality goes, girls love guys that make them laugh, smile, feel good, and have fun. but girls also hate guys that are insecure, selfish, rude, and insensitive.
    we look for humor, sensitivity, smarts, casual kind of cool (the kind of cool where you don't have to try), laid back, we want you to be our knight and shining armor. we want you to do whatever we want, basically, even if it requires you to give up something of yours. we want all of your attention, but still need our space. we want you to look at us and say ';you are the most beautiful girl in the entire world and i would do anything for you.';
    fun

    not a loud mouth

respectful to me and others- thats hot

cute- but doesn't have to be stunning, a lot of the girls i know are able to look past looks

honestly- can't be a complete nerd

    at least a little sporty

has to be a good friend

    loyal

    listens
I am 22 now and I was always into a guy with a sense of humor, not obnoxious but a sweet light-hearted sense of humor. I was a cheerleader in high school and ironically was never into the cocky jock-type. A sense of humor with a touch of selfless sweetness accompanied by a guy who can really listen=close enough to perfection for me.
Honestly? Every girl looks for different things in a guy. Just like every guy likes a different kind of girl every girl likes a different kind of guy.

My friend for example, loves geeky guys. And she seems to like musical guys that are not too reserved.

Me? I like sensitive guys. Musical is prefered, as is artistic. I need to be able to talk to him about things that are bigger than school or tv... Taller than me is good but not necessary. Long hair tends to attract me. And I'm more likely to go after a quiet guy than an outspoken guy.

Oh, and he has to be respectful of people. And for me? Christian. Need someone who shares my beliefs, to a point.
Someone who smells nice, someone who makes the best of themselves and looks kind of neat and tidy, A SMILE, friendliness towards other people is important as it shows you're not just being nice to her for one thing, someone to make me laugh and someone who has stuff to talk about! I also personally like kind of unusual dress sense..
O.K so. Lets begin shall we? First of all, work on confidence. You are obviously inexperienced, and need reassurance. Allright, physically, I like tall, short brown hair, green eyes, green eyes are hot. I'm like 5'4 so you dont really need to be that tall. For me, anyway. I like the sharp jaw line, and big/medium eyes. Tan, definetely, not like spray though. Ewww. For clothes, I'd shop at Abercrombie, Hollister, there stuff is usually hot, and will go nice with my prototype guy. LOL. O.K, take my advice and, like, be a lifeguard. And remember, this is just my opinion.
i want a guy that i can talk to when ever

that he can walk me to my classes :]

that hed rather hang out with me,even though he hates my friends.

    hed better be nice,funny,cute.

i love random guys.hmm.its sexy when guys do a trick on a skateboard to show of to a girl.even though they dont suceed lol

EDIT: and when they play sports ;D
Tall, tan with dark hair and dark eyes. A good body really helps too. I like dark eyes, but my boyfriend has the most gorgeous green eyes that I have seen. So green eyes are very hot too.

The guys that aren't scared or embarassed to let others know how they feel. They give great hugs, they treat me with respect, they aren't emotionless, they will be there when I need a shoulder to cry on, and... Idk, there's more than that, but I'm having trouble listing, lol.
Ok they say it's all about what's inside, but the first impression or starting attraction starts with looks. Ya know strong and protective looking. shaggy hair is cute on most guys :) Also, they have to bu fun and flirty! Someone you can talk to and be silly with! but also someone who will listen when you want to be serious! And when we say like oh I'm gonna fail! dont be like oh no you're smart. Actually help!!! Offer to tutor or have a study date or whatev
someone who can make me laugh, is fun to be around, respects girls(as in not someone who talks about a girls butt or something with his friends but then is nice to the girls face), would realize that there is more to life then sports, and doesnt curse
I want a guy who is fun to be with.

He knows how to have fun, but is serious when the need be.

    And I want a guy who respects me. When I say ';no'; it's no, not 'well, let me ask her 20 more times and maybe she'll give in.';

Those are pretty much the main things =]
i like it if theyre a lil taller than me and hav a nice body, like, not scrawny. i like it if they hav a wild side. yu kno? but they hav to be able to be sweet sometimes and be serious if i need them to be. and if theyre competitive, then thats ok too
-well for me having loving music is sexy

    -playing sports is HOT

-having a pretty good face is a plus(lol)

-actually cares about school and takes interests in many things(in other words...not a BUM)

    HOPE I HELPED!!!
He has to be nice, funny, outgoing, not awkward (if that makes since) And its always nice when the guy makes the first move.

As for physical attraction. I lil bit taller than me, Good smile, smells good, basic personal hygiene, pretty eyes.

    help me please?

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
funny, playful, someone who keeps things interesting by trying new things, confident, smart. you don't have to be super smart just know what your talking about and getting at.
I like guy that is smart, cute, athletic ,christian and sweet\charming.

If they take interest, the more the better (just don't be stalkish)

    Best of luck

    -Me
I seriously think the most effective thing you can do is smile!

I'm being totally honest, it's brilliant, and if a girl likes you back, she'll melt.=]
    Hmm.

    Cute

Holds open the door for me

    Kind

    Compliments me

    Nice

    Likes to hold hands

Sits next to me at lunch and holds my hand under the table

    Gives big warm hugs

    There are more too:)
    dark, curly hair

    Tall

and when we have things in common, like bands and such.

but the first two arent as important as the third one.
-someone who can handle my friends

-someone who can make me laugh (absolutely love that in a guy)

    -cute in their own way

    -sweet, flirty and thoughtful

    -someone who's not a jerk
My favorite quality in a guy is when he has the ability to make me laugh allot.
HONESTY!!!! down to earth, sweet, smart, not into himself, fun to be with, and takes care with his appearance.
be yourself dude.... as long as your cool and can make them laugh youre goo to go...... dont try to be cooll if your not they may think you are trying so hard just be yourself!! goodluck
    be yourself dog
be urself bro u should find someone
I like flirts, the ones that make eye contact and wink!

What can teenage kids do to help the problem of global warming?

What can us younger people of the world do to help stop Global warmingWhat can teenage kids do to help the problem of global warming?
Humans are like all animals - by nature we want to survive and compete and take more and more resources... Most people want a big house and more and more money. Increased consumption in the end means more global warming (please ask another question if you dont understand this, it is a bit of an explanation). One thing I know that beats our nature is culture - because of society and culture, people do the strangest nonsensical(in a darwinian sense) things.

    As a general,

The best way for teenagers to help with the problem is to make themselves and everyone they know aware and proactive. Furthermore, make being environmental a cool thing, integrate conservation into the culture of future generations. Conserving is not in our nature, gathering and consuming resources is. Culture can change this.

    Specifically, take

    1. public transportation or better yet, ride a bike, skateboard, or rollerblade around. This is a big one.

    2. If you can't possibly do 1, get a efficient car - make this a cool thing with your friends. A prius is awesome they are silent.

    3. Save electricity by changing out electric bulbs to energy efficient ones, be aware of lights in the house.

    4. Recycle.

    5. Educate others! parents can change! What can teenage kids do to help the problem of global warming?
    don't fart

get a life you will need one
global warming is happening in the smallest sense. if you are scared there is not a reason to be. here is a petition signed by several hundred scientists saying that global warming is a hoax........ read the first part

    http://www.oism.org/pproject/
Recycle and when it comes time to get car, get a hybrid one that runs off an alternate fuel source.
There's precious little humans can do to affect the climate. If there were no humans the earth would be warming anyhow. Climate change has been going on for billions of years and we're not going to stop it now. Human generated CO2 has a tiny effect compared to the more significant natural causes of climate change.
Turn off your computer, TV and iPod. Throw away your cell phone and don't use the regular phone. Don't play video games. Walk and don't ride wherever you go.
have a look maybe there i something here you could do

Global warming is in theory reversable, but it will mean global co operation between all countries ,and taking into account human nature and the world politics ,it is unlikely that this will happen,

At least not untill we are all in the middle of planetary disastres and it becomes a battle for the survival of humanity every where.

but it does not hurt to try and do anything that is on this list .

    SOLUTIONS

if you want to help the planet ,plant a tree every week ,if everyone on the planet did we we would be able to reverse the destructive processes

reduce carbon emisions, and they are already working on that by alternative forms of energy and regulations on carbon producing materials, aerosol cans, burning rubbish, industrial chimneys, powerplants etc.

the capture of carbon and the production of water and assist the aquiferous manta.

the world bank pays large subsidies for reforrestation to capture carbon and the best tree for this is the Pawlonia

Waterharvesting projects ,such as millions of small dams.to redirect over ground waterflows from the rains into the ground to supply subteranian water supplies.

    the protection of existing forrests.

stop building more highways, urban planning to include vegetation stop building cities encourage people to return to the land to conduct their business from there which now has become possible thanks to the internet.

education to motivate people to auto sufficiency by building more home food gardens.

    education on environmental awareness

education on family planning to curb over麓populaion

Agricultural education and improvements to follow the principals or sustainability and soil management.

more environmental or land ,design to prevent bush fires, such as--fire breaks

,more dams.regulations and control for public behaviour

alternative effeciant public transport to discourage the use of the internal conbustion engine

    recicling wastes,limit water use

Source(s) Lester E Brown is the director and founder of the global institute of Environment in the United states .he has compiled a report based on all the satalite information available from NASA,and all the information that has

come from Universities and American embassies WORLD WIDE ,

his little book--a planet under stress , Plan B has been trans lated into many languages and won the best book award in 2003

and here are 100 more things one could do

    http://www.eco-gaia.net/forum-pt/index.p鈥?/a>

this was one of my answers on Global warming

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
Recycle aluminum cans. All of this recycled Al is that much Al ore that does not have to be smelted from ore which requires huge amounts of electricity which is generated from burning fossil fuels. Burning hydrocarbons creates tons of carbon dioxide.
    What is the problem?

Also, there has not been a direct link established between human activities and the rise in CO2 levels.

Until there is, don't buy into the hype.
the problem you have in AU is coal powered plants. hastle your government to use more advanced technology.
i took an environmental class last year and it really made me want to go all out for saving the environment haha. the easiest things to do are: 1. make people aware of whatever facts you know about global warming and other things that are plaguing the environment

    2. do something fun for earth day, like tie-dying t-shirts and wearing them at school, planting a tree, cleaning up trash from a local park...etc.

    3. eat less red meat!

    4. unplug things that you're not using...75% of electricity is used when things are plugged in but not on.

    5. recycle and use re-useable water bottles

    6. write a letter to your senator encouraging them to rally for laws to reduce global warming

the list goes on...but as you can see, teenagers have as much power as anyone else as far as helping the environment is concerned!
Make sure you're conscious of what the effects of your actions are. If you drive a car when you could ride a bus or a bicycle, you are contributing to the build up of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Just being conscious of the effects of your actions can help you to notice changes that you can make in your life to help preserve the environment.

  • What are teenage rights and what freedom do teens have?

I need a very brief result of about 200 words.Ialso need information on how I will be able to convince my parents to grant me freedom? What are teenage rights and what freedom do teens have?
As long as you live with your parents, the only freedoms you have are the ones they grant you.

If you want to convince your parents to give you more freedom, prove to them you are honest, trustworthy, responsible, hard working, and reliable. Prove by your ACTIONS.

If you lie to them, don't do what you're supposed to do (chores without being asked 10 times, etc..), goof off in school, be lazy, make poor decisions, are selfish, etc...they have no reason to give you more freedom.

The more mature you are, the more freedoms you will have. What are teenage rights and what freedom do teens have?
Technically, teens are children and don't have any 'rights' per se. Your rights as a teen consist of what your parents are required to provide for you by law, and the long list of things it is illegal to do to you - like kill you, for example.

You may be able to convince your parents to grant you freedom by behaving responsibly, however they will appreciate it if you keep in mind that they have responsibilities that outweigh your rights. For instance, you go break a neighbor's window. Your parents are financially responsible for the loss, and must pay for the window. In fact, if they own a home, their homeowners insurance can be made to pay for damage that you do, accidentally or intentionally.
You have all the rights anyone else does, you just have rules you have to follow.

Your not going to get freedom from your parents, but if you want space then...

Get a hobby outside of your house.

    Get a job.

    Volunteer somwhere.

Show them you are responsible and they might give you more space.

    Good Luck
The only freedom you need is what clothes to wear to school what to eat for lunch.

If you don't pay your own bills and if you don't work (even if you do but live at home rent-free) then you don't have very much freedom due to being taken care of.

If on your taxes you mark ';dependent'; then you are stuck without a whole lot of freedom.
Keep your mouth shut and stay home and listen to your parents. They have your best interest in mind--always. One day when you have kids you will understand just how much you don't know right now. What you don't know can hurt you.
Right to grow under your parents watch until you become of age.

Get a job, become financially responsible, pay for your own car and insurance, avoid police problems
Until you are at least 16, you really don't have any rights. You can under court order get ';guardianship'; of yourself, but it is very rare and very hard to do. You would have to prove that your parents are unfit in raising you. Then you would have all the rights an 18 year old has, except you'd prolly have really angry parents and no help. Getting out on ur own is not all it's cracked up to be.

I did find the following very interesting and worth reading....

    The Teenage Bill of Rights

We, a new generation of young Americans, in order to protect the heritage of our forefathers and secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and generations to come, do affirm and pledge this declaration:

When character and morality are uncommon qualities,

When corporations and marketers seek to profit from our destruction,

When pop culture icons do not represent our values,

When Judeo-Christian beliefs are labeled as intolerant,

When activists seek to remove God from our schools,

When truth is deemed relative and unknowable,

It is necessary for us, the emerging generation of young Americans, to stand for what is right and reclaim the values that have made our nation great. We call our nation to a higher standard, a lifestyle based

not on convenience, but on character,

not on what is easy, but on what is excellent,

not on what feels good, but on what is good,

not on popularity, but on principle,

not on what is tempting, but on what is true.

We, as young Americans, assert our right to determine our future and the future of our great nation. We hold these truths as our God-given rights, and we embrace them with our hearts and our lives:

We recognize that God, our Creator, is the source of all truth.

We will live with honor, always striving to do the right thing, even when it is unpopular. We will be honest and truthful in matters large and small, regardless of the consequences.

We will take responsibility for our actions, and not point to governments, schools, celebrities, parents, or friends to justify our wrong decisions.

We recognize that we are responsible for our mistakes. We will pursue purity throughout our lives.

We will not be seduced by a fabricated idea of sex and love.

We will save our bodies and hearts for our future spouses, and once married we commit to pursue faithful and enduring relationships.

We will see through the lies of drugs and alcohol and refuse to let any chemical influence our thinking or destroy our lives.

We will respect the authorities placed in our lives, even though some may not live as honorably as they should.

We will honor our parents, teachers, and other leaders.

We will reach out with compassion to the hurting and less fortunate, both in our society and around the world.

We refuse to be absorbed with our own comforts and desires.

We recognize the value of each life, whether born or unborn, and we seek to protect those who are unable to protect themselves.

We will do our best to represent and communicate our Creator to our peers, leaders, and society as a whole.

We will work to see that every person has the opportunity to see and hear about the true nature of our God.

In signing, we commit to pursue a life that exemplifies these standards.

We refuse to sit idly by and witness the destruction of our generation.

With God's help, we envision a bright and prosperous future for the nation we love.

Is there any free social advice websites for teenage introverts/autistics?

Does anyone know anything that will give me (as both an bit of an introvert and diagnosed autistic person) advice to help me become a more social person and better conversationalist? You dont need ';websites '; for that...They can help..but to a point..I suggest you memorize a saying'; I am me, Im quite, I have my own ';learning styles';..I am me..I love to meet others and talk w/ them..I want to talk w/ them, get to know them..and make awesome friendships!';..say this to yourself while you look in mirror..I know this might sound ';crazy'; but it worked on a friend of mine whom would only talk to me..and no onelse..LOl...I finially suggested she do this..Say that saying to yourself in the mirror...Make eye contact w/ yourself..If you dont ';know yourself'; then how can others??...good question..;) it does work..Now my friend has mass friends that she talks to..I cant keep up w/ her!!..LOL..You can also try other conversations in the mirror..I know that this may ';sound silly';..but youve got to start w/ yourself..so you can ';branch out'; and bridge long lasting friendships from the ';heart';!!...Take care Ill pray for you..God Bless;)

sorry my mind is going blank
Never let a teenage girl shop at crap stores like those. J.Crew is a good start. Banana Republic, Ralph Lauren, BCBG, Gap, White House Black Market, and Lacoste are all good. Dressing smart leads to thinking smart.

Moms:what would you do if your teenage daughter was pregnant under these circumstances?

How would you react if your 16 (17 in 2 months) daugher came to you and said she was pregnant. But she did not have a boyfriend, it was just a guy from her school? Would that make the pregnancy harder for you to deal with?Moms:what would you do if your teenage daughter was pregnant under these circumstances?
you are asking for my reaction- it is in no way how i think most people would react or should react.

for me i would be surprised, but supportive. i would talk to her about her options and try to help her once SHE has made a desicion on what she wants to do. one of her options would be that she could stay with us and we would help her raise the baby until she is able to go on her own. we have a university within a half hour, so college could still be an option. i would talk to her about a job and financial responsibility. i would also explain that even tho it is a hard road she has chosen, it can also be very rewarding. i wouldnt use words like mistake and disapointment. i know too many girls who heard words like that- it was hard to overcome, and even harder should the child ever find out that much loved grammy or grampa said them years down the line. she is still a child and you still have a job and a responsibility here to make sure she has as bright a future as is possible. dont place all the blame on your child, these things dont usually happen without reasons or cause. look into that. she came to you- she is looking for you to be her mom, to love her unconditionally- dont disapoint.Moms:what would you do if your teenage daughter was pregnant under these circumstances?
I would be wondering why she did not listen to me when i told her about birth control and i would be telling her boyfriend or not she will be taking care of her kid (if she wanted it) without the help of me because i did not help her get pregnant.

I do not feel sorry for teenagers who get pregnant even if i had a daughter that ended up like that, If you can be adult enough to have sex then your adult enough to move out and pay your own bills.

It would not matter about the guy but i would be telling her she best be getting child support from him.
Yes it would make it a little harder to know that she is putting herself out there to sleep with someone she doesn't really care about, or doesn't really care about her. But regardless, it would be tough. I got pregnant just after i turned 18, I was in the last few months of my senior year. My mom was completely hysterical and it didn't help anything at all. I was trying to take care of the last few months of school, planning a wedding, and trying to cope with not going to college and having a child! If you're the parent, please try and be support, there's nothing you can do about it now. If you're the child, please try to understand that your parent loves you and doesn't know what's happening, both sides are going to say things and do things that will probably hurt the other, not on purpose, but what a situations you are in! Be patient, and think of the outcome...a precious child. God Bless, and I hope everything works out for you.
Personally, I have had this experience but on the other foot. I was pregnant at 16 and the way my parents reacted did nothing to help the situation. I was kicked out by my father and left to fend for not only myself but for the child growing inside me. The best advice I can offer from being through it is to listen to your daughter and try your best to help her. Explain her options and ask what SHE wants to do. There's nothing worse than having a parent give total diregard towards a situation you can't really change. Just be there for your daughter, she's going to really need it. Maybe have a talk to her about how this all could have been prevented and how important it is to practice safe sex. Either way, I wish you and your daughter the best.
I would react exactly as I would if she were pregnant under any other circumstances, the same thing my mom has always told me she would do for me.

I would say congratulations, welcome the new baby, and figure out if she wants to raise the baby herself or if I would be adopting it.

The bottomline is she is my daughter, and nothing changes that.
Any pregnancy at 16 would make it difficult for me. I would be extremely disappointed in my child, but I would do my best to support her, as she is barely old enough to take care of herself and I would not want to put my grand child in any harm.

I would have to ask myself why she did this though, and what I could have done to prevent it. Because if this happened I would feel as if I had not talked to her enough about sex and the consequences.
Well first I would be shocked, but after all the shock wore off I would think about taking steps to making this all work out for the best.

It would make it equally as hard whether it be from a boyfriend, a guy that she doesn't know well or a rape. All the same outcome and that is she is a young teen and pregnant.
I think maybe it would be morally harder for me, but these kids are growing up differently then I did and I'm only in my twenties. It is now acceptable for girls to just lose their virginity to just any guy and its okay to give oral sex to any guy. To me that was even more private then having sex. We live in a different world when it comes to sexuality. It may make things easier on her because she is not expecting a fairy tale now. She didn't fall in love with this guy and now expects him to be her prince charming.
i would be very upset and dissapointed but i would support her in any decision she made. i would also make sure she finished school. as for the guy...i wouldnt expect much from him. just be there for your daughter right now. i know it will be hard but this is the one time she needs you the most. good luck and i hope the best for both of you
i think it would be the same the baby came from a guy

but maybe u and her sould talk the the boys mom and dad and see how they r going to help u and her or ask ur daughter if she already talked to him about the baby
Any pregnancy that early is hard...but support her, find out who this boy is, as he is financially responsible for this baby till is 18...Have a conversation with his parents as well...cause I bet they don't even know.
It wouldn't matter, I would still be sad, mad, depressed All of it!!!

What pet would be suitable for a teenage boy and how interactive is it?

We own birds and a dog ,but we are not really keen on rats or miceWhat pet would be suitable for a teenage boy and how interactive is it?
Sorry dude, there is not enough detail to answer your question.

Is the boy active, how old of a tennager, does he have a lot of time to spend with it, (job, school, after school sports, always out with friends etc....)

Keep in mind if the boy doesn't raise it, someone will have too and that will more than likely fall on you. So to be safe at least find one that you can agree upon.

I love dogs, but that is just me.What pet would be suitable for a teenage boy and how interactive is it?
    a chia pet.
Ick..I'm not keen on rats or mice either! Seems most people are trying to keep them OUT of their houses :)

Depending on what type of dog you have, a ferret can actually be a great pet! And no..it's not from the rat famiy. It's actually a domesticated weasel. They're very curious and a lot of fun. They love to be handled, etc.

Some guys like reptiles as well. Although I can't imagine an affectionate snake (again ICK), some of the bearded dragons, iguanas, etc if raised and handled from early on become quite adept at pet status and look forward to being taken out and held and hand fed.

The other pet that is actually pretty interactive? Is the Oscar fish. It gets big though and requires a minimum of a 55 gallon tank. It recognizes its owners and will readily swim up for a pet or a handout if raised from a small fish. They also like to eat feeder fish, etc and some people find that very interesting to watch their habits.

What did the bedroom of an average teenage girl look like in the 60s?

Like, can you describe to me what was in it etc..

I'm redecorating my room and I'm going for sixties style :)

Thanks. Your answers are much appreciated.

(My room is tiny btw so I don't have that much space)What did the bedroom of an average teenage girl look like in the 60s?
I was a teenager in the 60s and my room was pretty typical of all my friends' rooms.....the walls and much of the ceiling were completely papered with photos (clipped from fan magazines) of my favorite bands and singers of the era. Didn't matter what color the walls were painted 'cause I hadn't seen them in a very long time. The floor was brown tile but much of the time covered with clothes, shoes, books and more magazines. The bed was covered with a blue and white quilt made by my grandma and about a dozen stuffed animals won at carnivals. And accessories consisted of several dozen LP albums, a large rack of 45s, a record player, a clock radio and several shelves of sci-fi and other books. Not the kind of decor one would find in Better Homes and Gardens but it was typical, comfortable and my haven. We weren't much concerned with fancy trimmings back then....I'll bet mine was smaller than yours....8'x9.5'....how's that for tiny?

A book about sparkling teenage vampires written by a Mormon housewife. Sparkle sparkle.

EDIT: Jesse, just because someone puts a lot of work into something doesn't mean it transcends criticism. That's like spending a lot of time studying for a test, and then getting a D on the test anyway, and then telling the teacher that you deserve an A for the effort you put into it. I'm sorry, but that's not how the world works.
that is pretty bad, but i think what's just as bad is an idiotic director who says he'll try to make movies based on books ';as close to the books as possible'; and then he adds superfluous scenes, cuts more than half of the necessities, and postpones the release date by a whole nine months! am i right?
The frillion and six questions about it.

I got a plan. How about, how about we all go bowling. And just not talk about Twilight. Ever. Again. Outside of fansites I mean.

  • Are teenage girls delinquency becoming a major problem in asia?

Juvenile delinquency is the juvenile acting outside the control of the adults responsible for the juvenile's actions which is a growing problem world wide. Asia has a totally different culture than that of the U.S. and males vs. females the females are beginning to increase at a rate similar to that of the males for several reasons, there is less chivalry in todays courts, females are not as protected by their parents as they used to be, and the effects of Cross cultural influences from out side source of home and institutional life have changed the over all out look on values of their culture.

Do teenage boys typically want a relationship?

I know it varies by person; but I notice that most girls do want to have a relationship. Do most teenage boys (around age 16) want to have a relationship or would they rather play the field?Do teenage boys typically want a relationship?
I'll say probably 50% of guys don't really want a relationship at the age. The other 50% just make it seem that they want a relationship but all they really want is boom boom pow.Do teenage boys typically want a relationship?
No its really really rare, they usually want to get into a relationship with a girl to have sex with them and I'm being honest cuz I am a 16 year old boy and me and all my friends agree that what we want is not a relationship but rather getting laid. Sorry to break it down to you.
Rarely do they want a relationship at that age

What are some really good books for teenage girls?

Yeah.........need to tell my Grandma what I want for Christmas and after reading the Twilight Saga nothing else seems good. What are some really good books for teenage girls?
    These would be my suggestions...

The A List (series of 10) - Zoey Dean

About the goings on of the teenage children of the rich and famous, contains a wide variety of material - love, hate, jealousy etc. Loved it!

Girl Meets Boy, Guy Next Door, All American Girl, Avalon High, etc. - Meg Cabot

I absoloutly love Meg Cabot's books! I would especially recommend the Girl Meets Boy %26amp; Guy Next Door as well as the third in that series, I immensly enjoyed them! Some are intended for adults but most for youth and I love them all!

Lioness Quartet, Wild Magic Quartet, Trickster, etc. - Tamora Pierce

Tamora Pierce's books are mainly set in the land of Tortall in medieval times, they use the same characters just at different stages of their lives and different books/series' focus on different people. They consist of fighting, magic, love, etc.

The diaries of kelly ann (2 books) %26amp; Jumping to Confusions - by Liz Rettig

These recount the goings on of an older teenager as she strugles to make decisions and learn to trust in others. The second one, Now or Never is about her relationship with a boy and is funny but romantic and suspencful at the same time.

It's A Mall World After All - Not sure who wrote it though...

Comedy of a girl and how she falls in love with her best friend's boyfriend's bestfriend while stalking her friend's boyfriend in an attempt to prove he is a lying cheating scumbag. A very good read %26amp; lovey but funny at the same time.

I'd Tell You I Love You But I'd Have to Kill You - Ally Carter

About a girl brought up as a spy and enrolled in a leading spy school who falls in love with an ordinary boy and can鈥檛 tell him who she actually is. Funny. There is a second in the series called To Spy or Not to Spy, it鈥檚 just as good.

Possibly the S.A.S.S. series - Numerous Authors

About the travels of students and what happens to them on their stay - love etc. Not brill but an ok read

    Inheritance Cycle - Christopher Paloini

Love them, you have to read them, Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr!

Sweet Valley High Books - ???

I can鈥檛 remember who wrote these but they鈥檙e a pretty good read even if they are kind of old. If you鈥檙e into series鈥檚 these are good as their鈥檚 over 100 books

The Last Summer (Of You and Me) - Ann Brashares

A good book but immensly sad, it is probably better for older teens or adults.

I have more suggestions if you want to hear them, just contact me or check out my website, http://www.freewebs.com/greatteennovels/

House of Night is about a normal girl that gets ';marked'; and she has to undergo transformations to a full blooded vampire. She has to attend this school just for vampires. Some fledglings don't make it. Some day. Oh, and lots of girly drama in it. Boys and what not.

Cirque du Freak is about a boy becoming a vampire. Except this one sticks to a really interesting perspective of vampires. They feed off human blood, they have knock-out breath, they don't kill when they hunt. Etc. But sooner or later, he gets enemies along the series...and they have to be stopped (I never put this series down for a MINUTE)

How can I dress like a normal teenage girl?

Well my whole life my parents (especially my dad) have bought me all guy clothes, and I hate it. About a year ago they started to get me more girl clothes and now that i'm 13 they will let me get all girl clothes. Only one problem now, I don't really have any sense of style. I usually just wear a tight tee and skinny jeans, but how can I dress more like a normal teenage girl? How can I dress like a normal teenage girl?
Hmm....Well...It really does depend on your favorite color's and what you like i guess...Don't try to take advice from others on where to get your clothes or how to dress. because they are different. and plus, they might make you look like an ugly bright colored *****. lol.

and tank tops will kinda make you look silly =P

Honestly since you usually wear a tee and tight jeans, go with that. try maybe....that same style i guess....just try different graphic stuff and whatever really. try: www.Hottopic.com they usually have some good stuff =P besides all that spiky stuff and belts and leather and stuff lol..

Also, try wearing a jacket maybe. like an open smallish jacket. since you seem to be pretty skinny, and you may want to try and remain cute. only way to remain cute is to wear small-ish stuff. make sure it doesn't hurt though like as if its strangling you lol!

anyways just try your fave colors, maybe look around at Hot Topic.

don't try to look like a slutty whore or something stupid, and don't try to be like something your not.

And you know I'm always here to answer ALL your questions =)

So you can ask me anything ever REALLY!!! ^-^

P.S. try not to wear something stupid like Ambercrombie or something that ALWAYS has a HUGE LOGO OVER THE FRONT. It looks stupid in my opinion. How can I dress like a normal teenage girl?
Take a trip to abercrombie. Look around at the girls in there and if you like what you see find the outfits and buy them. If not try another store, you should just look at other people and if you like the kind of clothes they are wearing try it out. You are 13 so you have plenty of time to find your sense of style. You do have a style you just need to wait until you see someone else with the style you like and GO FOR IT. If you decide its not for you, by all means try something else.
Well, that's a tough question to answer; I mean, I don't know you, and I don't know what you look like. But, I know the problem you've got. I was in the same situation. What you can do is first, see what your friends wear when you go out together. Do you like it? If you do, ask them where they got it, and buy some similar things. Or another thing you could do is to browse around the city, and see what you like. Don't feel pressured into looking like everyone else, just look how you want to look. I mean, seeing everyone in tank tops and shorts isn't really that interesting, is it?
There isn't really any 'normal'. You just need to develop your own style, there's no point wearing clothes if you don't like them. If you really want to dress like an ordinary girl, go into chain stores like abercomie and whatnot. My vote is, just stick with what you're comfortable with and what you like. If you like it, you'll look good regardless.

Are teenage car accident rates still increasing from 1996?

I would like to also know if a GDL (Graduated Driver's License) program should be necessary for all teenage drivers? Are teenage car accident rates still increasing from 1996?
Yes. The GDL program should be necessary for all teenage drivers. Here is proof of that.

This study was taken in 2006.

Graduated driver licensing programs reduce, by an average of 11 percent, the incidence of fatal crashes of 16-year-old drivers, according to a study by researchers from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health鈥檚 Center for Injury Research and Policy and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. When examining the most comprehensive programs, which include at least five of seven components the researchers found about a 20 percent reduction in fatal crashes involving 16-year-old drivers. The report was supported primarily by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and in part by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

As far as teenage accident rates increasing it is a proven fact that the rates are still on the rise since 1996. Here are statistics to support this.

    * Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for teens in the U.S.

    * Each year, more than 5,000 teens (ages 16-20) are killed inpassenger vehicle crashes.

    * During 2006, a teen died in a traffic crash an average of once every hour on weekends and nearly once every two hours during the week.

Nationally in 2006, 4,842 teen passenger vehicle occupants, ages 16 to 20, were killed in motor vehicle crashes, and 58 percent (2,813) were unrestrained at the time of the fatal crash. Are teenage car accident rates still increasing from 1996?
    Yes it should..........

    DECEMBER 2008

Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death among 15- to 20-year olds.

According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, 3,490 drivers in this age group died in motor vehicle crashes in 2006 and an additional 272,000 were injured.

Drivers age 15- to 20-years old accounted for 12.9 percent of all the drivers involved in fatal crashes and 16 percent of all the drivers involved in police-reported crashes.

Twenty-five percent of teen drivers killed were intoxicated. In 2006 (latest data available) crashes involving 15 to 17 year olds cost more than $34 billion nationwide, in medical costs, property damage and other costs, according to an AAA analysis.

Among licensed drivers, young people between the ages of 15 and 20 have the highest rate of fatal crashes relative to other age groups, including the elderly.

In fact, the risk of being involved in a fatal crash for teens is three times greater than for drivers age 65 to 69.

Immaturity and lack of driving experience are the two main factors leading to the high crash rate among teens.

Graduated licensing laws, which include a three-phase program that allows teen drivers to develop mature driving attitudes and gain experience behind the wheel, have been successful in reducing teen motor vehicle accidents.
The prior two answers are EXCELLENT! I would only add that not all 50 states have a graduated licensing program for teens.

Those states offset the stats of the other states for decreasing the number of traffic collisions involving teens.

It was just reported that, nationwide, traffic fatalities fell for the first time in many years. This is ALL age groups, not just teens.
