Well since you're tourists you may as well go to London and see the Big Ben, The London Eye, there's also the London Dungeons and the Tower of London, they're really cool things to see/do. You could, if you really wanted, do all them in 2-3 days.
Then, the more obvious things, i know i'd come here and shop, there's loads of cool places, and the restaurants are pretty cool too.
If you were willing to travel around, since you didn't say where abouts you were coming to in England, then there are several theme parks, i'd recommend Thorpe Park.
Go to the beach? Cinema?
Not that much to do here if i am being entirely honest, there's a load of museums if you're interested in that
-The Natural History Museum
-There's on about clothes and stuff, fashion ones may be good.
-National Art Gallery
and more...
Around and about there's some castles etc. Just chilling here is okay too.

It depends where in England you are coming to. In London there are loads of things like the Tower of London, Museums, Regents and Hyde Park, Westminster, Buckingham Palace. If you are in Manchester/Cheshire, where I live, there's loads of things depending on what you're interested in... Parks like Tatton, or Dunham Massey, The Edge in Aldereley edge, Delamere Forest or museums and things like that and there's also a place called Chill Factor e where you can do things like snowboarding or skiing?
