My teenage son is receiving serious threats from someone when he is on xbox live?

The threats are terrifying him and he is miserable with worry and so am I. He doesn't know the person but has heard of him at school. How can I deal with this?My teenage son is receiving serious threats from someone when he is on xbox live?
You can report the other player on Xbox Live and then the administrators will deal with him.My teenage son is receiving serious threats from someone when he is on xbox live?
Tell him to change his user name, and dont go on live unless hes with another person. When this person makes these threats tell him to save them for you to look at. Also see if you can report him if thats possible
I am pretty sure you can report abuse,if not then contact microsoft and tell them about this problem,they will then most likely monitor that person,if they keep going then they should be banned.
You could call the cop's or you could find out who it is by going to the school.But i would call the cop's
whats the SN on XBOX live....???? If you find out the screenname, you can tell the police what's been going on and they can find who it is and arrest them. If you know who the person already is, then tell the police and let them deal with it
report the player. and advise the skool. ur son needs to stayaway from the xbox live for now. if not. if the person comes up again talk to the person and get off the xbox. show whos boss
what you can do is go to the xbox live site and go under player feedback and complain about this player.
sometimes on x-box live people feel unstoppable and start to do such things as what your son is experiencing. Your best bet is to try to record one of these threatening conversations, (which I don't know how to do, sorry) get the child's name, and report him to the school. Hopefully, he will receive the consequences. anyways, I hope this helps.
it may be a joke..but that is unlikely

maybe you should clear it out with the bully..

ask him why he's threatening your son..

or report him to an official for not having a reasonable reason that's something I'd probably do
Found this on an xbox forum;

';after you play them go to the screen where you can view the people you just played and give them the thing that says don't prefer this person. or report them';
ask his school to keep a eye on it and tell him not to worry.

report the person on Xbox live so they get banned or something :D

you could get him to change his name but i think you have to pay to change on Live.
I'm sure there's some kind of way those threats could be recorded or copied and saved in another document. I'm not sure if the school can help out, but if you think it's really serious I would contact the police.

Also, have your son change his screen name or simply don't play xbox live for a while.
Has he reported him on the persons Gamer card

or better yet muted him so that he will stop receiving threats

Plus if he knows the person at school has he or you seen the headmaster about this'

If it gets any worse i suggest you go to the police.

hope this helps-mike
