if you want fun, relaxed and inviting the very first mistake you could make is the round bed. a round bed says SEX in very loud words. now, if absolutely no one else is going to see this room, it won't say that and you can do what you want, but if ANYBODY else see it, your daughter's a SLUT. there's just no other way to see it. i'm sorry.
All of the other furniture should be square/oblong in a lighter wood and you should use lighter colors for the bedding/curtains/wall colors. That will draw more attention to the centerpoint of the room (the bed) and make it seem less provocative. Do not put a sofa in that bedroom, that is way over the top. Also stay away from beads, lava lamps, and bean bag chairs (unless you're aiming for a 70's stoner sex den).
I also agree with the poster above who mentions a more modern look, but that usually doesn't add up to inviting/relaxing.

Try the new ';wave'; by neutrogena....i have acne and since i started to use this my face has become a bit more clearer....i use it morning and at night then i put on an oil free moisturizer(nivea oil free moisturizing fluid)....Its very cheap....im from ireland and i got it for about 15euro i think....if you cant get that,try ';simple'; cleansing lotion and you can also get a moisturizer...always use oil free products because oily skin causes spots....i've alot of experience on spots cause i've had them since i was 7 i think....you don't always have to do ';the steps'; when cleaning your face which are cleanse,tone and moisturize.Its mostly hormones which cause spots and as you get older they'll clear...by the time your 17,18 r maybe even 16 depending how well you look after your face your skin should be clearer by then

Facial scrub: Oatmeal and Sugar....seriously...this is the BEST scrub i have ever had....just take oatmeal and grind it into a powder and the add Sugar( more Sugar if you want more of a scrub...less if you just want something soothing) then add a little water and make like a paste( not too thick and not too thin) Rub on your face for like 3 minutes then rinse with warm water...put moisturizer on right afterward and your face will feel so refreshed and soft!!!!! Do it about once a week. Dont rub too hard or you will damage face.

Per Person
INGREDIENTS
1 clove of garlic

125ml of water
录 of a teaspoon of salt
100g of spaghetti
Ground pepper to taste
METHOD
Peel the garlic and chop it into tiny pieces.
Put the oil into a frying pan on a moderate heat. Add the garlic. Fry the garlic for about 5 minutes until it is brown, stirring to stop it sticking.
Put the water and salt into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Put the pasta into the water. Stir it to stop it sticking to the bottom of the pan. Bring back to the boil and continue to cook, stirring to stop it sticking.
Begin testing the pasta about 2 minutes before the packet instructions say it should be done. The best way to judge if pasta is cooked is to bite it. This is tricky, because if you fish out a bit and stick in your mouth you may burn your mouth on the boiling water. Wait a bit and blow on it, then bite it. If it is hard it needs longer. If it is chewy (or 鈥榓l dente鈥? Italian for 鈥榯o the teeth鈥? it is ready. If it is soft it is overcooked.
Drain the pasta in a sieve or colander. Season with the pepper.

Add little salt, black pepper and half a dozen green cardomon pods from which you take the little seeds and throw in the stew. Boil. Cool and serve with a spoon of yoghurt in the centre of each bowl. So good at this time of the year!

My two standbys are cold sesame noodles (basically just cooked linguini with a simple dressing) or vegetarian chili (easy to make because you just throw all ingredients in one pot and let it simmer for awhile).
You could also try veggie fried rice or seasoned rice with black beans.

You could make pizza, pasta, or garlic bread :P

I can tell you a reason why people who aren't ready to have children shouldn't have sex. Because sex leads to children. Two of my friends had kids in high school out of wedlock and it made things VERY hard on them. THey used birth control (actually both condoms and BC) but the point is, it is only 99% effective, so if you plan on having sex over 100 times expect a baby. I have two other friends who got pregnant and had abortions and that is another unwanted consequence of teenage sex when people don't want children. Also, quite a few kids in my town ended up with herpes and other crap like that (thankfully no AIDS) but this should all have been explained to you in sex ed. No offence.

When I was younger, my mum would buy me whatever I wanted.
First it was briefs (I don't know why as I can't remember that far back). Then it was boxer shorts when I was around 8. And from 13 it was briefs.
So, for me, I would say that briefs were the main underwear my mum brought me as a child.
That would all be down to my own personal preference as she never told me which underwear to wear. She let me choose when I wanted to change and she was fine with it.
The only underwear, I guess you could say, I was made to wear was when I wore briefs as a little kid. Although, at that age they were my first type of underwear, and I was very young, so I didn't really have much of a choice over them.

When I was younger, my mum would buy me whatever I wanted.
First it was briefs (I don't know why as I can't remember that far back). Then it was boxer shorts when I was around 8. And from 13 it was briefs.
So, for me, I would say that briefs were the main underwear my mum brought me as a child.
That would all be down to my own personal preference as she never told me which underwear to wear. She let me choose when I wanted to change and she was fine with it.
The only underwear, I guess you could say, I was made to wear was when I wore briefs as a little kid. Although, at that age they were my first type of underwear, and I was very young, so I didn't really have much of a choice over them.
I would certainly say boxers - my eldest son is nearly 5 and he asked for boxers (like daddy's) last christmas!

Can anyobody advise me on my legal position. My daughter is 15 and lives at home with me with her daugter (7 weeks old).
My daughter has suddenly turned against me and honestly all I have done is totally support her in this shocking situation, and I have not spoken of my support or required praise I have just done EVERYTHING I can (and silently sacrficed a lot) and suddenly she has gone off of the rails (gone off getting drunk etc - and it is not how I brought her up) and I am concerned about my granddaughter - I need to know I can protect her OK if ever needed be. From the very beginning I would have made it perfectly clear that this baby was my DAUGHTER'S responsiblity not mine. It is one thing to be supportive and quite another to take over. Sounds to me like in your effort to be supportive you have taken over the raising of your grandchild. Not a good idea. If you felt that your daughter was incapable of being responsible for a baby then you should have either had her abort or put the baby up for adotpion once born. As far as legally, legally your daughter is an emancipated teen (her pregnancy emancipated her). So legally there really isn't much you CAN do unless she signs over guardian ship to you, which sounds good on paper but at any time during your guardian ship your daughter can decide to pack up and move AND take her daughter with her because she IS the biological mother. I suggest giving her an ultimatum. If she doesn't ';step up to the plate'; and become responsible for raising her daughter tell her she will have to put the baby up for adoption. I know that at this point you probably don't WANT to do that you could attempt to adopt the child yourself but I doubt any attourney would advise you to do so because again at any time during that child's life your daughter can come along and demand her parental rights back and being the biological mother is in a position to get exactaly that. Had it been my daughter, she would be going to school then coming home and tending to her child. The child would be in day care during her school hours because I work fulltime and am not going to quit my job and but MY future in jeapoardy because she can't take care of HER responsility. I would also seek child support from either the father of the child or his parents, as well as partial payment for day care. I would be there to help out my daughter with learning her own parenting skills but I would never take over. Document everything! Get in touch with social services and talk to a worker. If you decide to adopt or get guardianship of the child do it legally so your daughter does not change her mind in the future, and the child becomes a ping-pong ball.

Listen, Im 16, and my best friend had a baby when she was 15 too and the same thing happened to her. Her mom came to me and asked me to talk to her and see what was going on. My friends main problem was that the stress was way too much and she didn't tell her mother that the father of the baby told my friend that teh baby was her choice and that it wsa her fault that she got pregnant. When she first got pregnant, her was totally suppportive and told her that he would be there for her and not to worry because they would go through this thing together... Needless to say that she broke down and I am going to admit that I am very phisical and the next time I saw him I slamed him in the face. Anyway, You should either sit your daughter down and see what is wrong, or go to one of her close friends to find out for you. If those don't work, sit her down again and forcefully and sternly tell her that she is a mother adn that it is not right for her to go off and party when her obligation is to her child. Explain to her that she could have gotten an abortion but that would not have solved anything. And if worse comes to worse tell her about your sacrifices for her. And tell her that you did that because you loved her and her child deserves that same love from her.

Legally you have no rights to your granddaughter because of US Supreme Court rulings a few years ago. However if you can show that your daughter is an unfit mother due to her drinking all the time the Courts can transfer full custody over to you.
I'm not sure about your position legally, but it sounds like your daughter has begun to realise what having a child means and maybe she's finding it very hard to cope with the shock.
go talk to the courts and get custody of your granddaughter..it may be a lot better this way.
in most states you can go talk to an attorney FREE the first time to ask questions..and see if you like the attorney..so maybe you may have to see two or three attorneys with different questions ...for FREE...before you know what you want to do..and if it was me..I would get FULL custody of your granddaughter..and maybe adopt her too..
and then you can decide with the courts what to do about your daughter..if she is going to stay at home or maybe go to a group home WITHOUT THE BABY ( but she can not continue doing what she is doing and stay there..she needs to walk the straight line..now! ) ..you keep the baby..but do it legally..PLEASE....
and do it fast...like MONDAY..make a lot of telephone calls..
please...you DO NOT NEED YOUR daughters permission to look into this and to get all of this started..and if may be even better if you do not tell her anything about your plans to take her daughter....and maybe the courts can observe the ways she is acting....

well shes 15 and drunk i recomend legal action to gain custody of her daughter from her. this ismplifys the matter and is a simpler issue than youd think (legally speaking )

Your daughter needs to see her doctor. She may have Post-partum depression. Not sure what kind of anti-depressants that a doctor would be able to prescribe for her at this age because teens react differently to them than adults do. I would tell her that unless she gets her act together that you will be taking her to court to get custody of your grand daughter.
Unfortunatly i know in the UK that Grandparents dont have any rights in normal circumstances.
However this is quite an unusual case and with you daughter being a minor herself you may be able to do something.
I know of somebody who actually adopted her grand daughter as her daughter went the same way, but you really need to get legal advice.

phone social services annonomously with your concerns, keep to the facts and not your opinions, say that you think a shock treatment would benefit her,,, that way when the social worker comes out it will be an annonomous complaint..... if the social worker is straight enough then if your daughter cares for her child it will be enough to shock her into being a mum for her child,,, if she doesnt then by all means just be there for your grandchild,,, but also be there for your child it must be hard for her too but dont take over
In my own experience, which hasn't been much, and I live in the state of MIchigan. I'm not sure where you're at. Grandparents do NOT have many rights to grandchildren. However, I'm not sure how different this is when the mother is a minor. HOWEVER, I DO know, if you're really concerned and need some help, I would suggest speaking to an attorney to see what they say your rights are since you're daughter is only 15.
If you DO feel that she's out of control and abandoning her 7 week old child, I wouldn't hesitate to try to get legal guardianship of the child. This would protect your grandchild from being raised in an unsafe environment. Furthermore, i would encourage you to find out what is going on with your 15 yr old. It may not be anything YOU'VE done, but rather something else. She may be overwhelmed with a new baby and realizing how much of her childhood is gone. I would seek some help of a counselor and find some time for you to take a breather.

i was the same age as your daughter when i had my son.. first thing i did.. was ran out.. got drunk and so on.. just wait it out a little bit as long as your granddaughter is being taken care of (fed, diapers changed).. let your daughter go through her stage.. when you are that age and you have a baby and then you realize that life as you knew it is over.. and there is no turning back.. you go party.. you go through a little stage.. PERSONALLY i would let her go through that stage for a little while.. let it take its course.. what my foster parents did was waaaaaay extreme.. and they told me to get out.. i would not kick her out like they did to me.. what i would do.. is i would make her get a part time job if she doesn't already have one to pay for diapers and let her see what it is going to be like out in the real world..
HAVING to be more responsible and HAVING to pay for the diapers and the formula.. at first she will naturally be mad but she is going to realize that working parttime and when she pays for daycare she isn't going to have anything left to raise her baby.. once the reality sinks in.. it might take awhile and a lot of fights.. she will either step up and be a good mommy.. or she will just want nothing to do with parenthood..
go and see a family solicitor all you can do is seek legal help
Up to this point, you've given her the opportunity to show that she is responsible enough without you stepping in. Obviously she has let you down. I know it sounds sorta harsh, but use a little tough love, and tell her you will get CPS involved, and get custody of her child if she does not step up and be responsible parent. i was reading the news this morning and i found out that a man that happens to be the father of a 14 year old rape her, but this isn't the first time, this is been happening for years and it was recovered by relatives who saw some unusual movements about the teen. why don't these young women report these cases the first time these things happen or is it because they like it and is only because they get caught they say it's rape. concerned?How do some fathers have the audacity to molest their teenage daughters?
most teens feel ashamed of themselves so they dont want to tell. cause the adult will make the kid feel either bad about himself, or he will convince him that this is completely normal and they should not tell anybody.
and most of the times their parents threat them, so think about it, you are 12 or 13 and even your father is taking advantage of you... will you trust someone else to help you? you will say were would I go then, to another place were they will hurt me more.

My son sleeps 12 hours from when he goes to bed- he has grown about 4 inches in a year. He is always tired, he gets a rash around his mouth, he suffers panic attacks and food intolerances, is fasinated by fire, jumps of roofs and drives cars at 14 and loves water. He talks in his sleep and has vivid memories of his dreams. He is either flat out or stopped and goes off the scale when tested for his literacy levels, spelling and comprehension but cannt do maths. He is very complex. Even the doctors are baffled - any ideas?Anyone got any ideas about what is wrong with my teenage son?

She should be getting ready to go to college and start off on the best part of her young adult life and instead she is having a baby and getting married at 17. If you wnat to save you money you need to sit down with your parents or someone you can trust, and work out how much you have to save to get the things you want and how much speanding cash you need to get by. I have a 14yr old who loves to spend money too, mostly on stuff she will outgrown in a year. we worked out a plan that when she gets money i put it in her savings then when she makes a solid choice of what she wants to but I will take the money out for her, but most of the time when she shes how much she has saved she doesnt wnat to spen it, she would rather save for a trip with her friends...etc.
remember all the times you buy you cant take to the grave, it is always good to give to those you love. You should try to donate to a charity.....or something to help others. My care donate to a place called CARE. And she feels great about herself......you can always buy a new pair of shoes and stuff every now and again. but constant speaning WILL lead to bad habits when you are older...... just be wise and ask for help when you need it....there is no shame in asking for advice

I am almost 16 and i want a good smelling perfume to wear. I want one that doesn't cost to much for me to only be able to get every once in awhile. And i also don't want it to be too strong. i want it to be sexy and guys to only be able to get a bit of a whiff when they walk past, but can smell a lot when they hug me.

well i use curve... but what i really like is the body sprays from bath and body works. of course, you could get the perfume, too, but why spend that much money? i just get the body sprays, and it's just as good as perfume. my favorite is cherry blossom. it's not overpowering, it's an elegant smell, and not pricey either.

Can anyone give advice on how to deal with teenage daughter with symtoms of depression and low self essteem?
She also has a physical disabled called hyper-phosphates-anmeiarickets which has left her leg browed inward, she has insercure feeling about her appearance because of this. She has being crying alot and the thought of school makes it worst.Can anyone give advice on how to deal with teenage daughter with symtoms of depression and low self essteem?
I am also disabled and you can sometimes feel so scared that people are going to be mean that you daren't leave the house.I can understand your daughter feel self concious but the only way through it is to try and boost her self confidence. Tell her that she beautiful and special I've learnt that there are people out there with no legs or arms so am not as bad. I think accepting who you are comes with age so I feel over time she will be able to cope better with the way she looks. Get her to learn to love what she has got going for her nice eyes, long hair, great skin and all the rest will melt in the back ground I promise.

As a 14 year-old, I was depressed and had low self-esteem. Part of it is just the nature of teenage years. However, you can help. My mom tried to take me to several counselors. In my opinion, this was a terrible idea. It made me feel like there WAS something wrong with me and just made the problems worse. Spend lots of girl time with her. Mom and daughter outings were the best! We talked about everything and later when my friends were drinking etc in high school, I didn't feel the need to bc my mom and I had that special bond. Do her make-up. Play with her hair. Tell her stories you would tell a girlfriend about when you were her age- just don't be condescending. All these things will help.
Also make sure she has several extra-curriculars that she can excel at. Even if she doesn't have self-confidence over all, these experiences with success will allow her to build on her self-image over her teenage years.
Also, I am not sure if this is a possibility with her physical disabilities, but look into the People to People Student Ambassador Program. This more than anything else in my teen years, gave me a sense of myself and the confidence that I could take care of myself (while still in a supervised, safe environment).

I would advise you to go and get her counselling. I have a 13 year old who suffered depression and low self esteem but that was because of bullying in junior school , and trying to deal with having an autistic brother. I felt helpless but I went and saw my doctor and he referred her to a child psychologist unit and they did wonders with her. Also it might be worth talking to her school about your concerns , and they might be able to sort out counselling for her as well. I have done that with my daughters high school as she began to get depressed again because of problems we are having with her brother and they have been fantastic in getting her a school counsellor who she sees once a week and it has helped enormously. Good luck, my thoughts are with you and your daughter.

Maybe encourage her to have friends round for dinner and sleepovers or go to the cinema - all she needs is to feel like she has friends.
ask her what she wishes could be done and see what you can do (not just about her legs, but about anything that would make her feel better) for example, take her out for a girls day, buy her some new clothes and take her to clinque or somewhere where they can show her how to put on makeup and buy her some. my mom did that for me and i felt SOO much better about myself when i was in high school. knowing i had nice makeup (not caked on or anything but usally make up helps bring out your beauty even more) and i knew how to put it on correctly. yeah this will cost some money, if you dont have a lot, try to save up. your daughter is definately worth it. maybe try to find someone with the same disability for her to have someone to talk to and be friends with that is in the same situation as she is. good luck with this
every teeanager has self asteem issues. what you need to do if she has been diagnosed by a doctor as having depression is get her on anti-depressants right away. they really help. what does she like to do? is there a creative outlet for her to release her anxiety? just talk to your daughter and reassure her that she is beautiful. do things with her if she doesn't have many friends. let her know how fun and loved she is.
As a previous depressed and suicidal teen, all i can say is never just let her sit alone. do everything you can to get her out of the house. self essteem is hard. try taking her to get a manicure or pedicure. talk to her. let her know you care, and let her know that you are going to be there for her when ever she needs you.

Take her to a make over session which gives a photo shoot and ask them to give her clothing tips as well. Lots of ttention an bonding sessions. Take each day as it comes, no pressure just be there for her, she will get through it
