Does a teenage college student need an iphone over a regular phone?

im trying to decide whether or not to pay the extra money for an iphone over just getting another phone..... im going to college soon and im not sure if i need an iphone.Does a teenage college student need an iphone over a regular phone?
Not really. A regular phone would work just as well besides unless your parents are paying your bill or you have a large amount of savings to tap into, the extra money right now probably isn't worth it.Does a teenage college student need an iphone over a regular phone?
NEED? Absolutely not. The only thing you would need it for is if you get a job at school that required you to have instant access to your email constantly (My roommate worked for our schools paper and needed an iphone for that). But other than that one reason I would say no. Of course it's an awesome phone and a ton of people on campus will have one, but if you are worried about paying too much then get a regular phone
It is up to your requirements... what do you use the phone for?


for example, I do have a busy school life and need an organizer as well as internet device at school and email client... but i dont think usual students would need something more than a normal phone
