How are teenage parents legally responsible for their babies?

ive always wondered, how teen parents are legally responsible for their children if they themselves are not old enough to even enter a legally binding contract? how can they sign up for things like insurance and day care if they are underage? does the teen parent's legal parent/guardian have to sign for them or are they allowed to do it themselves?

im referring specifically to minors.

just to add, im not a teenager, ive just always been curious.How are teenage parents legally responsible for their babies?
Actually with women, once they have children they become medically emancipated -that means that they have the legal right to make medical decisions for themselves and their children.

With regards to other things, they will still need parental permission and helpHow are teenage parents legally responsible for their babies?
I believe they fall under the legal clause ';old enough to bleed, old enough to enter a legally binding contract';
